Osun State chairman of New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) Dr. Tosin Odeyemi, has indicated the plan of coalition of some political parties to unseat the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)-led administration in the state.

He said the current administration in the state is gradually losing touch with the people.

Odeyemi in a release issued on behalf of the group in Osogbo, the state capital, said the coming together of the parties had become imperative to salvage the state from the “poor performance” of  Governor Adeleke.

He said the Adeleke administration is falling short of peoples expectation, adding that going to two years in office, the governor has not completed any tangible project.

The release  read in part, “It will be recalled that while seeking votes, Senator Ademola Adeleke, said his family had dollar and pound sterling in large volume. I remembered we warned Osun people then to be wary of the deceit but they didn’t listen.

“Now, the reality is dawned on everybody. Mr Governor prepared for the office of governor, without any proper knowledge of Osun governance intricacies, particularities.

“Now, it has become imperative for us, like-minded political parties in the state, to rise to the occasion and save the state from more agony. Talks are progressing well and the political parties involved are showing commitment to the project.

“They are all ready to work together to unseat Adeleke, come 2026. Osun should expect a strong coalition that would work together and end the PDP administration in 2026.”
